'Bel Air'

Domaine Bel Air is located in the heart of George Sand country. George Sand (1804-1876) is one of the most important writers in French literary history and a pioneer of feminism.  George Sand was one of the first generation of writers to make a real living from their pen in the 19th century, along with Honoré de Balzac, Victor Hugo and Alexandre Dumas, among others. The novels she wrote were inspired by socialism and often took place in the countryside. It is located in a former historical province, which now covers the departments of Cher and Indre. Crozon-Sur -Vauvre is a peaceful village set in rolling green countryside between La Châtre and Aigurande.

Our rooms are located in a beautifully restored barn and all have en-suite facilities. We have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, a large garden with a pond and a heated swimming pool. In our garden we have several fruit trees and a vegetable patch. We naturally serve vegetables from our own garden. Welcome and good service are our main assets to guarantee you a pleasant stay!

The accommodation has a heated swimming pool, a library and a lovely large garden with plenty of seating areas. In the morning, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast made with fresh products.
